
Dominic was born in Dublin in 1978. His first musical memory was singing in the Mansion house for the Lord Mayer at the age of 7 with his class from school. Later he played the Prince from the musical Cinderella with the Rathcoole Musical Society. He started his vocal studies with the acclaimed Conor Farren at the Abbey School of Music,at the age of 20, where he has studied for the past eight years. In 2005 he was accepted as a Young Associate Artist with OTC (Opera Theatre Company), where he was privileged to do Masterclasses with the renowned Patricia Bardon & Marie Mc Loughlin at the Royal Irish Academy.
He played the role of Lensky for 'Opera in the open' one hour special summer production of Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" and also Asis from "Asis and Galatea" presented in collaboration with Dublin City Council. Dominic performed in the Opera Aida, Regiletto and Atilla with Lyric Opera at the National concert hall in Dublin. He then took part in"Fidelio", for the Opera Theatre Company's performance in Kilmainham gaol. He then played the part of camile from the Operetta "The Merry Widow", with Coolmine musical society. In November he sang the tenor part in the "Oratorio De Noel", at the National concert hall in Dublin. He has sang at many Weddings, Funerals, etc. Dominic sang in Concert-Recitals in Canada on two occasions.
Dominic was later honoured with the prestigious John Mc Cormack Tenor award, (from the John Mc Cormack Society of Ireland). He has also sung for Taioseach Bertie Ahern as part of a group. He won Best Male Vocal Repertoire and bursary at the Ballymena Music Festival and was also a finalist in RTE/LYRIC FM'S Broadcast competition "Divas and Divos". He has performed extensively both at home and abroad. He also Toured with "Rhythm of the Dance", from January - September 2008. He Performed Opera for 'Highbank Orchard Theatre Company' in August 2009. He Performed on the 'Holland America' Irish Cruise in September 2009.
